Rock and Roll to Hit is in the can!
Sunday, I finished the last of the mixes for Scott Snyder’s Rock and Roll to Hit. Scott’s songs are smart, funny, and very well sung and performed. Many are about gaming, as you’d expect (if you know Scott), but he covers other subjects too – ranging from the tech industry, to comics to astronomy. I’ve got to say it was a pure pleasure to work with Scott on this. He’s a very skilled audio engineer himself, and I have to admit that going in I was a little worried we’d have too many cooks in the kitchen. As it turned out, we both had a blast, and our collaboration was super relaxed.
Many of my usual suspects played and sang on the album, including Mary Crowell on piano and Maya on backing vocals. Beckett Gladney designed the cover, which as you can see is beautifully designed and funny at the same time.
Scott plans to release this at Consonance the first full weekend in March.
This has turned out fantastic. Thanks for everything Jeff. 🙂
This looks like it will be a fun album. I look forward to hearing it.
Ooooh, I’ve got to get that! When will it be available?
Eva – Scott plans to release it at Consonance in early March. I’m not sure when it will be available in Germany. I’ll tell Scott he should contact Volker and Kirstin.
I can do that. 🙂
